I am a professional electrical-electronics engineer specializing in building safety and automation systems. This gives me the benefit of real world experience which is essential for developing industrial software applications which interact with devices using communication protocols like Modbus, M-Bus, BacNet etc.

Simplicity and intuitivity

I believe that user interface (UI) should be simple, intuitive and aimed at maximum user convenience. It should establish a strong connection with users, not drive them away. This is applied to both frontend (standard user, visitor) and backend (privileged user, administrator) UI design.

Maximum customization

I do not like to hardcode anything that can be customized (and needs to be customized even though client may not be aware of this during production stage). User interface should be simple and intuitive but at the same time it should enable users to change all available parameters.
